Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1 Penguin Climb, #1, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: Vauhti Blue, Grip Wax: Vauhti Orange, covered with Vauhti Fluor Green
If you like it blustery, today is your day. Parkways were groomed overnight for both classic and skate. In some places, like near P5, conditions are surprisingly firm. Near Fortune/Champlain, it is more soft. Certainly windblown in places as well. Don't expect it to be fast, but it is pretty. Ridge Road was in the process of being rolled while I was returning. If like the small trails, several of them have been skied once or twice...plan on hitting the odd rock though...
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
