I don't have the reflexes, balance, flexibility or desire to descend a hill on a narrow strip of barely covered grass with a large group of talented skiers who can leap over objects and do 360's at will. So yesterday morning, after checking out things at P10 we headed to the Doldrums, expecting to run instead of ski. Surprise - the snow was (relatively) fine for classic skiing, and it was possible to ski almost right from the car. It was good enough that I went back for seconds today. On a side note, the parkway itself had very good traction for running, and there were quite a few runners and dog walkers both today and yesterday.
