I think we can pretty much call the season over as of April 12th, 2011. What an end to the season it was! There was some great Spring skiing and cooperative weather the last few weeks but that changed Sunday afternoon. First light rain, and then torrential rains overnight followed by near record breaking 24C heat on Monday. Not to mention high winds to dry it all out. While I haven't surveyed the skiing myself, and I imagine are still stretches of 'skiable' snow if you are looking to do some hiking. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
