As Eric suggested - everything that was groomed was very nice this morning. A few icy spots but for the most part fast and easy skiing. I started from P7 and trail 30 hadn't been groomed up to Wattsfords. For the most part it was manageable on the way up - a little awkward/icy but not too bad. By the time I got back later in the day the surface had softened nicely for an easy descent. Couple of icy spots to watch out for but not in surprising areas and they are well flagged. The groomers had rolled ridge and then dropped down Penguin so from then on I had beautiful grooming throughout with the exception of the Champlain parkway past the lookouts. Looks like they've abandoned grooming it as its pretty icy now. It had sofened in the sun to managable level when I skied through but probably not much the groomers can do with it unless we get more snow tomorrow.

Managed to time my ski really well as per Ron's suggestion yesterday. Got good skiing early and then stayed for a little sunshine late. Most of the benches were in full use but I got Brule lookout and its sun warmed rocks to myself to enjoy the sunshine and salute old man winters departure. What will spring bring us tomorrow?
