Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #5 (green), #15 (blue), Glide Wax: Vauhti Purple, Grip Wax: Something warm cover with Vauhti Carrot

Myself and Colin got out for a taste of fresh air and a short ski about mid morning. We started out at P1, Asticou and headed up the Parkway, then down on to Trail 5 and 15 and then making a pretty fun loop coming back down on #25 (a fun backcountry trail with no ski busters). The inner trails and backcountry trails are the place to be today, ie sheltered. On the Parkway the classic tracks are all blown in but if you didn't mind the wind gusts, skating would be okay. Off the Parkway was beautiful, fresh snow with okay grooming and lots of sun beaming through the tree's. Happy Skiing!
