I agree with everything that Jo-Ann reported regarding the conditions. Today did just a short classic ski on the North Loop back-and-forth. With a good soft snow technique skating would have been great; however, conditions are definitely meant for classic. I had such good kick and glide I felt that the skis were in control ! Get out there conditions this good don't happen often.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
