Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, Camp Fortune Race Course, Glide Wax: Vauhti blue, Grip Wax:

Skied last night and conditions were so nice I went back again this morning. Parkways were nicly groomed both wide and flat. There was even some fresh (ish) corduroy to be had on the parkway out towards Black Lake. Ridge road was in near perfect shape and again flat and fast for skating with solid classic tracks on the sides. Skied the Fortune Race trails last night and they were fun and fast - no classic tracks though. Come to think of it I can't remember when there were classic tracks on this loop but either way its a fun loop with some hard climbs and screaming descents. Checks out a few meters of some BC trails and they have changed from the weekends soft powder to slightly more chunky stuff. Still very skiable but perhaps more of a challenge. I didn't have my wider skis so didn't explore too far.

Hoping the predicted rain and hot weather isn't as bad as predicted so it doesn't mess things up too badly. Mondays drizzle in town was snow in the park so more of that would be fine.
