Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #30, #31, Glide Wax: Vauhti Spektra Blue, Grip Wax: N/A

Yee-haw! Beautiful day, great fresh snow and good grooming! Get out and enjoy the mild temperatures and fast greasy snow. Booth Hill was a great alternative to the crowds coming down Penguin. Careful descending however, if you get too close to the edges your ski will sink a 2ft and you will add your outline to the collection of full body divets beside the trail. Ridge was in good shape as Garry described, with the usual snow plow troughs. Burma was a real treat for skating! With a full sized groomer having made a few passes its firm, only moderately bumpy and wide enough for skate and classic. It had seen a lot of traffic, but was holding up well. Should be great on Sunday. Get out and enjoy!
