Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, #14, Camp Fortune Race Course, Glide Wax: Vauhti Green, Grip Wax: Vauhti Fluor Orange. Vauhti Super Binder underneath is a good idea
I skied a bit around the Fortune racing trails, Ridge Road, as well as Fortune and Champlain Parkways.
The racing trail is starting to get firm underneath, which is nice. As of this afternoon, there were no classic tracks yet and there were a few cms of fresh snow.
Chicken Run and Ridge Road were very hard packed and getting a bit rutted.
The Parkways were in very good shape with fresh hard tracks and smooth skate lanes.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
