Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, Glide Wax: Vauhti Purple, Grip Wax: Vauhti Blue and Carrot combo

Another chilly morning out in the Park! We were feeling the Parkway blues so after skiing from P10 we turned on to Ridge Road and started heading towards Champlain en-route Fire Tower direction on trail #1. Surprisingly it was good classic skiing but rocks skis were essential due to the rock patches here and there. The grooming looked rather fresh and we might of been one of the first ones venturing out that way. At the end of the morning we ended up with the odd damaged base but the skiing was a lot of fun out there and well worth it if you have rock skis!
