Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, Glide Wax: Vauhti glide -2 to -20, Grip Wax: Blue V30

Very fast classic conditions on the FLP, CP to the Lookout and Ridge to trail 2 and back. Mostly deep, well formed tracks with a pack powder/fine granular base on the parkways but thin and icey on Ridge between FLP and 1B and CP between Etienne Brule and the CP Lookout. From the 1B junction Ridge had good tracking all the way to trail 2 and beyond. A binder is probably best as most of my wax was stripped of by the time I arrived back at P10. Parking lot was only a 1/4 full when I arrived at 10:30, so hopefully the crowds are thinning out now that we're in the spring ski season..
