Gatineau Park

They did a really nice job of grooming last night, conditions are quite good and the snow is fairly fast. Tracks on the parkway are perfect. Tracks on Ridge Road are set fairly shallow but they are still good. The descent into Penguin on #1 is well scraped and fast but still has good coverage and enough give in the snow to make it controllable.
Ice klister worked just fine for me today. I carried some hard wax thinking I might have to cover the klister but I didn't have any icing issues. I'll probably run the same tomorrow based on the forecast.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
