Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, #1B, #2 (blue), #3, #9, Glide Wax: old leftover , Grip Wax: VR 50

Another stunning day! Lots of people were out, and P10 had enough cars for a middle row. No new grooming, but it was as good as - or possibly better than- some groomed days I can recall. There was a bit of fresh snow on top of the previous grooming. It was mild and damp but the grip worked well. Fortune was in good shape, Ridge to Huron was good, up to the Lookout was good, 1B was great, 2 to Western was lovely, and the fresh snow on #9 - just to where it intersects Burma - made it the most fun of the year. Just one teeny little rock was peeking out. Burma was a lot of fun, no bare spots noticed, although the last hill down was pretty icy (splat!) It would be nice if Demsis would chew up that ice a bit. The parkway tracks were getting quite slow by the time we finished up. It was too much fun skiing today to take photos!
