Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: North Loop, Glide Wax: Vauhti LF -2 to -20, Grip Wax: skins
Arrived at P8 this morning with my skins expecting granular/icey wax stripping conditions but was pleasantly surprised with 3 to 4 cms of fresh skied in snow. It wasn't snowing when I left Orleans. Tracks were mid depth and the skiing was pleasantly fast with good grip and glide. As I write this at 3:00PM its still snowing. Very encouraging for the rest of the week.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
