Remarkably busy. Parking lots overfilled! Demsis had worked hard to clean up Friday’s mess, and skating was great. Hard granular snow in the shade, softer corn snow in the sun and some scraped clean downhills. I brought rock skis and regretted it because conditions were easily good enough for the nice ones.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
