Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, #54 (green), #55 (green - shared), Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: universal klister

Not too often I ski the 54 and 55, but they are beautiful trails. Of the two, 54 was in the best shape, fresh grooming, snowy tracks, hardly skied on and plenty of loose granular snow for excellent control on the downhills. 55 was also good, but tended towards icy, rutted tracks as I approached Lac Taylor and around the shoreline. 55 blue just past the yurt looked crunchy with skier made tracking. Universal klister worked well off and on (mostly on), when it did, provided excellent grip and glide.
