A quick update for those heading out today. We received about 5 cm of fresh wet snow on top of a firm base. It appears to be raining (very lightly) right now. Skating will be slow, and if you head out classic skiing I would generally avoid using waxable skis until the snow has had a chance to get more saturated. At that point, red klister from any brand should work.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
