Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #1, #30, Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #7, #15 (black), Glide Wax: Vauhti Mid, Grip Wax: Vauhti K base Klister, then Vauhti K violet klister

Colder today but another great one for being out in the park. The snow is old, icy, and very abrasive - which actually makes for great skiing when it's been recently groomed and you've got kick that stays on. Of the wax I am familiar with, the obvious solution for that is Vauhti K base klister. You can ski for days without losing kick if you heat some of this in as a first step. Today, the K Violet (another very useful wax at this time of year) worked beautifully on top.
