Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, #5 (green), #27, #26, #29 (alternative), #29 (shared), Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: skins

Fast classic conditions in the Mont Bleu to Asticou area. Granular snow on a hard base with tracks at mostly mid depth with some shallow sections. Water is starting show through in the usual areas, behind the CEGEP on the 29 and across the flat expanse on the 27 heading towards the 5. Skins gave reasonable grip but I suspect universal klister would have been the better choice. Long range weather looks like spring skiing conditions are here to stay..
