Trails Skied: 1, 2, 2, 12a, 12b, Glide Wax: Waxless, Grip Wax:

I attended the Friday Night Ski and there was a decent turnout. I don’t ski the upper trails a lot so it was fun to give them a try! We met the fabulous groomer several times (they were very considerate of us and didn’t pressure us to ‘hurry up’ so thank you for that!). As a classic skier I was disappointed that the classic tracks weren’t set, but skiing on the freshly rolled and pressed trails was pleasant enough.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
