The new snow is really nice! It wasn't made sticky or crunchy by the rain that intermittently fell with it. When I skied around 11 am, only rolling had been done so the surface was quite uneven in places, and no groomed tracks at all, but conditions were still very nice. It's 5-flake snow, and after grooming will likely be 5-flake conditions as well. There was already a bit of debris down due to the winds, but it was minimal grooming might cover that back up again.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
