Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, #1, #1B, #9, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: blue extra v40

An interesting day out - beautifully groomed trails (FLP and Ridge Road) and trai-breaking required on 1b and 9 (Western). Air temp varied between -4C and 0C. Grip wax was perfect on the groomed trails, not so much on the others, with lots of slippage on the climbs. I had planned on just going to Huron Shelter; I had a really fast ski there, but found it completely full (jr high school I think) so I headed to Western, which had just a few people inside. I was thinking of going back to the FLP on Burma, trail 3, but was too tired and decided to head back from 9 onto trail 1 (not 1b again!)the fLP all the way back. The grooming was perfect all the way back once on 1. Typo in last pic (should be east, not easy!)
