Kanata Nordic

Trails Skied: 101 North, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, TCT, Glide Wax: Swix CH7, 'cause that's what was on the skis, Grip Wax: Swix VR 65 (70 would have been better)

Classic skiing the lower trails over the lunch hour. Looks like everything in this part of the network got a grooming pass today. Classic tracks are solid, and very little tree debris that others have noted from the Campground trails.

Another warm day - I'm not used to using the red side of my wax box (but really, these conditions beat frostbite every day of the week)!

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
