Kanata Nordic

Trails Skied: 1, 2, 2, 6, 8, 12a, 12b, 12, 101 North, 103, 104, 106, 107, TCT, Glide Wax: Swix CH7 , Grip Wax: Soft blues (Blue Extra, Carrot) or Hard reds would be what I'd try

Skiing on nice snow, in sunny conditions, with temps just below 0 is AWESOME! Fresh grooming (at least in the campground) and a warm clubhouse cabin is icing on the cake.

Skate lane was even better than yesterday (grooming pass today seemed to take care of the ridging). Classic tracks are looking solid.

Looks like a long stretch of great weather (fingers crossed). GO SKIING!!!!!!

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
