Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: , Glide Wax: Vauhti Blue., Grip Wax: Thin layer of Vauhti Blue Klister, covered wih several layers of Vauhti fluor orange

Nice weather and everything I skied (Ridge Road, Fortune Parkway, Champlain Parkway) was in quite good shape today for both classic and skating. Conditions are a bit more abrasive than you might expect, so if going classic a binder or very thin blue klister base is recommended.

Maintenance crews appear to be cutting trees on the racing trail, so with some luck, that might be skiable soon.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
