Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: green then blue

Skied #50 from P16 to just before the junction with #52. First time on 50 this year and noticed the new bridge over Meech Creek complete with inflatable crash barriers on either ends. Good I guess if you're hurtling down the hill and can't stop. No fresh grooming but tracking from yesterday with 2 or so cms of fresh snow on top. Wasn't as cold as reported (-11 and was actually -7 when I got to P16) and mistakenly waxed with green but had trouble getting grip so went with a coat of blue and was good to go. On the downside, glide was a bit sticky and slow. Beautiful scenery as the trees were covered in a snowy frost.
