Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, #5 (green), #27, #26, Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: blue
Arrived at the Relais Centre this morning at 10:00 to find a nearly packed parking lot and parents out with their kids. Must be an extended xmas holiday on the Quebec side. Anyway, no fresh grooming but snow filled tracks due to the ongoing storm. Skiing was effortless nonetheless especially compared to last weeks wet and slow conditions. NCC recommended green wax but blue was the better option in the fresh snow.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
