Good conditions for any kind of skiing on the parkway network today, but I would give the edge to classic skiing right now. The tracks are more or less perfect with poles not even hitting pavement much of the time. The skating is certainly acceptable but it's a little bumpy and inconsistent. The sun and lack of wind made for a great winter morning.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
