Klister is really not that hard to put on, and it will make your whole life better. This morning was perfect klister skiing - fast, and really easy to get grip. OK, enough about that. The snow is granular and generally forgiving. It was fast when I got there this morning but slowing down by the time I finished. I tried the top part of Merry Go Round - the crust was firm but good luck trying to slow down! The Parkways and Ridge (above Keogan) were in great shape for classic or skate.
