Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, MacKenzie-King Rd , Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: waxless skis

Spectacular photo opportunities this morning for those of us who got out early enough to see ice on the trees against a striking blue sky and sun. As for classic skiing it wasn't bad either, fresh grooming on the GP, CP and MKE. Tracks were mostly fresh snow with some glazing/grey sections. Figured waxless skis was the way to go seeing the snow was damp and temps were around zero to 2 degrees. Good grip and glide for the most part until it got closer to noon and things got a bit sluggish.
