Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: #50, #51, #52, #53, Glide Wax: hf blue, Grip Wax: vr45
Beautiful morning of skiing, with the sun making an unexpected appearance. Fresh grooming and really fast conditions. My friend who had the right grip wax - Teho green iron-in klister - had perfect grip and glide. The three of us who had used vr45 ... had a really good double poling workout. Parking lot was half-full at 9:00, overflowing at noon, and I'm glad to report that the lot has been sanded and was much easier to navigate in ski boots than last week. What a stellar day to be out on the trails!
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
