Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, #52, #36 (blue), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: skins

Headed out of an almost full P17 ice rink/parking lot at 10, and took 52 to 50, then left on 50 and out on 36 to the boat house, back the same way. Another gloriously sunny day for skiing, and another day of good grooming but lots of leaves and debris in the tracks. I was glad for my skin skis - although on the home stretch I was missing the better grip and glide I get with my regular skis. Apart from a few local team members doing skate sprints on 52 at the beginning of my ski and a few classic skiers on 50, I saw only a half dozen skiers on 36 and had 52 all to myself on the way back - surprising, since the parking lot was still full at 2 o'clock.
