Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, #1, #30, Glide Wax: Rode GLF Violet, Grip Wax: N.A.

It wasn't exactly the dream scenario for skiing this evening but if you want to head up to the park after work I would probably recommend P10. They were doing some grooming and track setting around 5 pm and had come up from P10 and done at least some portions or Ridge. The result was sugar in the short term - but I think it will harden up considerably tonight. That means for Saturday you can expect fast and firm conditions and probably very nice skiing where it gets groomed. Looking at the track, for classic I would recommend putting some blue klister on and covering it with appropriate hard wax. You MIGHT get away with a serious binder/base wax but I make no guarantees.
