Trails Skied: 1, 8, 12a, 12b, 12, 101 North, 102, 103, 104, 106, 107, TCT, Glide Wax: Red (-5 to -10), Grip Wax:

Deep fresh snow (10cm-15cm) on top of the what felt like recently groomed trail below. Snow was deep, but light. Despite providing significant resistance due to depth, the glide was reasonable. The TC trail and 106/107 were the most enjoyable.

Classic tracks looked to be filling in with snow in most places, however the structure was visible almost everywhere.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
