Another day, another lunch hour ski. Good to see other people out today - the weather is perfect!

Skated most of the field trails, everything is in pretty good shape. Classic track looks mostly solid (these low snow conditions make for challenging grooming). Only a few bits of dirt/gravel poking through on 106 (Roller coaster). Again, 107 (little roller coaster) didn't look like it had a grooming pass.

I'd suggest giving the pretzel course a try (I did a few laps playing with cornering at speed). The arrows are still up from this past weekend's racing; hopefully it stays on the "trails to groom" list!

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
