Kanata Nordic

Trails Skied: 100, 101 North, 102, 103, 104, 106, TCT, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: Green

Skated today. Having a couple of centimetres fall this week and colder temperatures the trails at 401are in good shape with a firm base. In the open wind swept snow is on the slower side. The wind was not to bad; recommend you head to 103, 104, 106 and the TCT to get out of the wind. 106 in the woods lacks snow but is passable. Classic tracks generally looked good, with a few shallow locations.

perfect for a quick ski on your way to work,at lunch time, or after work.

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
