Trails Skied: North Loop, Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: universal klister
Good to excellent classic conditions on the doldrums this morning. No fresh grooming as Demsis is waiting for temps to drop before resuming grooming ops. Universal klister gave excellent grip and glide on slightly icey/glazed tracks. Had some minor clumping which caused a spill at one point but the speed and ease more than outweighed using any hard waxes. Other classic skiers were slowly trudging along presumably due to grip issues..
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
