Trails Skied: 101 North, 102, 103, 104, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

Got out for a ski just as people were leaving from lessons. Great to see so many smiling faces! Conditions were fairly good considered snow coverage - best coverage was among the trees and on 103 and 104. Some grass and dirt sticking up in places, but I felt fairly confident using somewhat good skis as hazards are all pretty obvious. Not sure what the tracks were like as I was skating, but groomers have done a great job!

Kanata Nordic

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 5 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions. Access to the club trails requires a membership or day-pass.
