Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: -3 to -8

ROUTE: P5 up to the Champlain Parkway and on up past Lariault to about halfway up the big hill and then back the same way.

CLASSIC: Solid and fast going out, starting to get a lot slower on the way back. No problems on the downhill and pretty much effortless on the uphill. Blue wax worked well on the way out. Violet (+3 to -3) would have been better on the way back.

SKATE: Looked great.

TRAFFIC: Interesting difference today - lots of people on the trails, very few people in the parking lot, especially on the way out.
