Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #2 (blue), #1 (green) (#2 - #24), #24, #33, #40, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: violet

Another perfect day out. Temperature was -4C when we left P12 at 1130 and 0C on our return at 1330. Wax worked well, with little backslip, and was perfect on the return from Western via 2,1, 24 and 40. A few problems with hazards from short and long snow ridges from the groomer, especially on trail 33 near 2 (I feel the same way as Harris, as the ridges are definitely hard; sorry Gary!). The downhills were all very fast, but control was easy (as long as you avoided the ridges). There's still loads of snow, so we've probably got a few good days left despite the increased solar radiation.
