Trails Skied: 1, 8, 12a, 12b, 12 [3.87km], Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:
Skied all of trails at 411 on Tuesday night except 2. Skate. Fresh wet snow, however as temperature dropped snow became faster. No fresh grooming but not a big deal for skating. Limited thin locations but quite avoidable. Man made trackset in some locations. New snow today and temperatures below zero should make this a great destination for good March skiing without the drive. Enjoy

About Skiing in the Kanata Area..

Kanata Nordic ski club is a volunteer-run club dedicated to promoting lifelong activity, fitness and enjoyment of the outdoors through a variety of cross-country ski programs and activities offered in a friendly club setting. Established in 1979, Kanata Nordic now calls Wesley Clover Parks home with a growing trail-network for all skiers to enjoy. The club is a member of Cross Country Ontario (CCO) and Cross Country Canada (CCC).

The club grooms and maintains approx. 18km of trails at 401 Corkstown Road.

Trails are groomed 3 times per week by volunteer groomers. Tracksetting occurs after each significant snowfall and just prior to Saturday lessons (usually January through March). Trail conditions will vary depending on snowfall and snow conditions.

Trails at the YMCA Bonnenfant Outdoor Centre are NOT MAINTAINED.

A day pass for skiing is $7.00 ($5.00 for snowshoeing) payable at the trailhead or online. Members receive a season trail pass as part of their club membership.
