Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, #5 (green), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: universal klister
Even with the new snow from Thursday, I found the Gatineau Parkway classic tracking from Gamelin to just beyond the St Raymond overpass to be basically grey ice. After that tracks were a mix of glazed hard pack snow with with some good dry spots. Universal klister was only effective where the sun wasn't shining. Moving onto the skate lanes and looser snow made for better grip on the uphills..
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
