I tried Skyline early this morning. It was hard and fast. This works well on the mild downhills and there is just enough grip to slow down on the trickier descents. If you fall over, it is still soft on the verges. If speed makes you apprehensive, it might be best to take the 19-34-6 alternative loop. The run down Penguin was equally fast but very wide so there is more room to play.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
