Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Gatineau Pkwy, #26, #29 (alternative), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: Teho Green and Vauhti Green Fluor

A short ski on a beautiful day! We had intended to park at P2, but only the pay lots were available as Gatineau Loppet work has begun in the free lot, and student parking had filled the remainder. (It would be nice if there were free daytime parking available for local skiers at the Relais Plein Air building when the free lot is closed for loppet construction.) I had no looneys and the machine didn't seem to take bills or credit, so I went to Asticou instead.
Conditions were disappointingly stale, hard and in need of a fresh grooming, but at least my wax held. It was a gorgeous day to be out.

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery. The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
