Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, #30, Glide Wax: Vauhti Green, Grip Wax:

Skated from P7, took #30, #1, Ridge Road until #2. #1 and Ridge have not been groomed today but they were in good condition, although medium speed at best. On the way back, at Huron Cabin I opted to try the Champlain parkway. Found the parkways to be perfectly groomed for both skate and classic, and the new hardened corduroy was noticeably faster for a skater. It was so nice I decided to go down and up the Fortune parkway. Finished on #1 and #30.

Looks like no snow is coming tonight but if they groom trails like #1 and Ridge Road, those are going to be excellent on Saturday just like the parkways.
