Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:

ROUTE: P10 to Champlain Parkway. The Parkway to the Lookout was not groomed at 10:30 so we went the other way (down toward Bourgeois and MacKenzie King Estate) for a couple of kms.

SKATE: Fantastic conditions on a newly groomed trail up the Parkway. Coming down was great as well but the grooming was only evident on the sides. There were many skiers out and they were wearing away the corduroy quickly but the track was still fine.

CLASSIC: The Classic tracks were in good shape and everyone seemed to be making good progress.

TRAFFIC: There were about 6 cars in the lot at 10 but it was full to overflowing at noon when we headed home. The drive from Bank and Albion was fine with most families still on holiday.
