Gatineau Park

Trails Skied: #50, #36 (blue), Glide Wax: , Grip Wax: K19

Trail 36, trail 50 to Lac Philippe, and detours down to Meech Lake. As nice a ski as one could ever have! Conditions were PERFECT, wax was PERFECT, temperatures were PERFECT, the scenery was inspiring, winds were light and it was snowing lightly much of the time.

Trail 50 was freshly groomed between 36 and Herridge, but not to P16 or past Herridge. Lots of hikers had also been on the ungroomed sections of the trail, but had used the extreme edge of the skate lane so it wasn't much of a problem.
