Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Champlain Pkwy, #1, #30, Glide Wax: , Grip Wax:
Classic tracks were in great shape at the start, but as the snow kept falling they had gotten much slower by the late afternoon (or maybe I was just getting tired). Champlain Parkway from the lookout to Fortune was especially slow, but the Ridge Road trail was decent enough even on the way back to P7.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
