Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, Glide Wax: universal, Grip Wax: swix red
Good classic conditions on the FLP/CP and ridge. Had a bit of slippage going up the FLP but an extra coat of red wax improved things. Beautiful, but sombre scenery with a light fog and snow/frost sticking to tree branches. My only minor quibble was the single descent track on the FLP back to P10 which was bumpy and meandering, more like a skier made track.. Lot of people out, parking lot was jammed on my return around 12:30

Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
