Gatineau Park
Trails Skied: Fortune Pkwy, Champlain Pkwy, #1, #3, Glide Wax: Rode GLF Green., Grip Wax: Binder or klister base, plus Rode Super Blue
It was one of those days that it felt COLDER than it actually was, but was still enjoyable with warm clothes thanks to the good grooming. Everything is obviously very hard, but the skate lanes were smooth and the classic tracks were generally in very good shape. If you have the patience to put on binder or klister underneath you can have great kick and glide. Ridge Road, #1, and #3 all passed the test for me.
Gatineau Park is ski paradise! The network of ski trails offer machine groomed skate skiing and classic skiing as well as little groomed backcountry trails. Multiple access points allow skiers to access a variety of terrain and scenery.
The NCC offers season or daily pay rates.
